Didier Drogba has revealed John Terry has the support of his Chelsea Football Club pals.

The Blues skipper was stripped of the England captaincy on Friday, following allegations of an affair with the ex-girlfriend of international team-mate Wayne Bridge.

Terry has vowed to continue to give his all for club and country, and he set up Drogba’s first goal in the 2-0 win over Arsenal on Sunday which returned them to the top of the league.

"It has been a difficult week for us, for Chelsea, for all the club," Drogba told Sky Sports. "We tried to stay together and focus on the game. It is a matter of time but we will stick together.

“We will keep looking forward. We offered him (Terry) as much support as we can. The best thing for him is to play. All his team-mates have to do everything for him."
